The clutch is jerking



Engine and gearbox mounts are faulty


  • Check and replace if necessary

The gearbox support is poorly secured


  • Tighten the mounting bolts

The pressure plate fits unevenly


  • Replace the disk

The driven disk is not an original part


  • Replace the driven disk. Install the original part

The crankshaft is not aligned with the gearbox input shaft


  • Check the engine and gearbox centering surfaces

The clutch release fork is pushing to one side


  • Check the clutch release fork

The clutch is slipping



The clutch driven disc is worn out


  • Check the thickness of the friction lining of the disc, replace if necessary

The clutch slave cylinder is jammed


  • Replace the cylinder

The clutch hydraulic drive slave cylinder is leaking


  • Perform a visual inspection

Hardened or oily friction lining


  • Replace the clutch slave disc
