  • Peugeot J5 (1981-1993)

This is a detailed online repair manual for the first generation Peugeot J5, Citroën C25 and Fiat Ducato minibuses (produced since 1982, in early batches — since 1981). These reliable commercial vehicles have been used for decades to transport goods, passengers and as a basis for modifications.

The manual covers the main engines:

Petrol (related, described together): 1.8 l (1796 cm³), 2.0 l (1971 cm³, 78 and 86 hp);

Diesel: 2.5 l (2499 cm³) — naturally aspirated and turbodiesel (many common components, especially on Fiat), 1.9 l (1905 cm³) — naturally aspirated (mainly Peugeot and Citroën).

Not included: 1930 cm³ engine and early diesels/turbodiesels with gear-driven timing belt (first years of production only).

The manual covers in detail: engine repair, timing belt, fuel system (carburetors, fuel injection pumps, injectors), clutch, gearboxes, suspension, brakes, electrics, body, typical weak points (corrosion, fuel injection pump, seal leaks), adjustments, tightening torques and filling volumes. Suitable for do-it-yourselfers and professionals.
