The fuel pump comes from different manufacturers, but all pumps are interchangeable. The fuel pump is a diaphragm pump.
The fuel pump cannot be repaired and must be replaced if damaged.
Once the fuel hoses are disconnected, removing and installing the fuel pump is easy. The ends of the disconnected hoses should be closed with suitable plugs to prevent fuel from leaking out and dirt from entering the system.
