The check valve, built into the fuel pump, in the filling circuit, maintains residual pressure in the engine supply circuit, due to which fuel is supplied to the fuel rail.
The low pressure fuel pump is supplied with 12 V power.
The pump is controlled by signals from the fuel injection system ECU using a fuel injection double relay.
