Note: To check the tightness of the high-pressure fuel rail and injectors, it is necessary to remove the intake manifold. To check the tightness of the high-pressure fuel rail feed pipe, it is not necessary to remove the main components of the system.
Using the Schrader pressure test and control valve, relieve pressure in the fuel circuit.
Note: When disconnecting the pressure gauge, wipe the valve hole with a rag to prevent fuel from spilling out.

Remove the fuel rail.
Degrease and dry the areas to be tested.
Apply leak detection compound using a spray bottle "Ardrox 9D1 Brent" on the fastenings of high-pressure fuel pipes (in zone "b" and "d").
Spray the same composition onto the high-pressure fuel rail (in zone "c").

Let the mixture dry. Connect the battery.
Turn on the ignition to increase the pressure in the fuel rail to 5 bar (pressure corresponding to low feed pressure).
Check for leaks (in the areas where the composition is sprayed, if there is a leak, the indicator composition will change color).
Turn off the ignition.
Turn the ignition back on.
Check the pressure in the low pressure supply circuit (the value determined by the pressure gauge must not be lower than 4.5 bar and must not fall within 45 seconds). Turn off the ignition.
If the result does not match the specified values, locate the leak and replace the faulty part or parts.
Repeat the testing procedure until you achieve a tight circuit.
Install the previously removed parts.
