Replacing the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly (Peugeot 207)

Caution: Use the Schrader pressure test and control valve to release pressure and drain the fuel circuit.


Fold down the right rear seat cushion.

Lift up the carpet.

Remove the cover (3).

Disconnect the fuel pipes (4).

Close the holes with plugs.

Disconnect the power connector of the fuel level pump-sensor unit (in area "b").

Disconnect the power connector of the fuel level pump-sensor unit (in area «b»).


Caution: When removing the fuel pump assembly with the sensor, try not to deform the float lever.


Loosen the ring nut (1) and remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly (2).

Remove the seal.

Caution: After removing the assembly, reinstall the nut (1) to protect the fuel tank from deformation due to displacement.


Install a new seal (on the fuel tank).

Install the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly (2) (with new sealing gasket).

Note: Observe the alignment of the marks (in the "c" and "e" zones).


Install and tighten the nut (1) until the marks "c", "d" and "e" are aligned.

Install and tighten the nut (1) until the marks «c», «d» and «e» are aligned.


Install the parts in reverse order.
