
When the purge valve is energized, the electromagnetic coil pulls in the magnetic core, which pushes the valve. The gasoline in the canister can then be sucked into the intake manifold. When the purge valve is no longer energized, the return spring pushes the valve out, which stops the purge of the canister.

When the engine stops, the purge valve of the adsorber closes. The valve control corresponds to the percentage of purge of the adsorber, which changes depending on the engine speed and load.
Purpose of connector contacts:
- contact no. 1 - control by connection to "ground";
- contact No.2 - 12V power supply.
