Replacing the high pressure fuel pump (EP6DT engines) (Peugeot 207)

Place the car on a lift.

Disconnect the battery.

Caution: Use the Schrader pressure test and control valve to release pressure and drain the fuel circuit.


Install plugs into the air cooler and turbocharger outlet bushings.

Release the BSM fuse and relay box from its clips.

Remove the following parts:
  • air intake system resonator;
  • battery cover;
  • battery;
  • air duct;
  • air supply pipe;
  • air filter cover;
  • filter element.

Loosen the mounting bolt (7) and remove the air filter housing (8). Unfasten and lift the chute and power supply wiring harness (9).

Remove the intake manifold (10).

Remove the intake manifold (10).


Disconnect the fuel supply pipe (in area "a").

Loosen the high pressure fuel pipe fastening (11) (in zones "b" and "c").

Remove the high pressure fuel pipe (11).

Disconnect the connector (in area "d").

Disconnect the connector (in area «d»).


Unscrew and remove the fasteners (12) of the high-pressure fuel pump.



Remove the high pressure fuel pump (13).

Remove the high pressure fuel pump (13).


Attention: During installation, all seals, as well as removed high-pressure fuel pipes, must be replaced with new ones.

Install the parts in reverse order.
