Removal and installation



1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.

2. To access the sensor, remove the rear seats.

2. To access the sensor, remove the rear seats.


3. Remove the plastic cover to access the fuel level sensor in the tank.

3. Remove the plastic cover to access the fuel level sensor in the tank.


4. Disconnect the wires and hoses (B) from the sensor (A – electrical connector).

5. Mark the position of the sensor cover, unscrew the ring and remove the fuel level sensor.

6. When installing the sensor cover, use only a new O-ring.
