1. Press the retaining tabs and remove the mounting compartment 1 under the heater switch panel (see illustration).

2. Remove the head 2 of the gear shift lever (see illustration 6.1).

3. Unscrew the four bolts 3 (see illustration 6.1).

4. Remove the rear ashtray 5 (see illustration 6.1).

5. Remove the protective cover 4 of the gear shift lever (see illustration 6.1).

6. Unscrew bolt 6, and then two bolts 7 (see illustration).

7. Remove the parking brake lever cover 8 (see illustration 6.6).

8. Press the cover 9 away from the parking brake lever by prying the holder 10 with a screwdriver (see illustration 6.6).



9. Disconnect the plugs from the switches that are connected to the rear of the center console.

10. Apply the parking brake.

11. Lift the rear section 11 of the centre console and move it in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

12. Disconnect the connectors and remove the rear section of the center console.

13. Disconnect air duct 15 from deflector 13 by unscrewing bolt 12 and removing flange 14 (see illustration).

14. Unscrew bolts 16, 17, 18 and remove support 19 (see illustration).

15. Remove the parking brake console 20 by pushing it forward (see illustration 6.14).

The rear part of the center console is installed in the reverse order of removal.
