1. Jack up the front of the car and place it on jack stands.

2. Open the hood.

3. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal from the battery.

4. Press the clamps and remove the pads 1 (see illustration).

5. Remove the fasteners 2 and 3 (see illustration 2.4).

6. Working in the wheel arch recess, remove mudguard 4 by prying it off with a screwdriver (see illustration).

7. Remove the retainer 5 (see illustration 2.6).

8. Unscrew the 6 bumper mounting bolts (see illustration).

9. Move the bumper towards you, disconnect all wires that prevent dismantling (see illustration).

10. Remove the bumper, working with an assistant.

The front bumper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
