The front doors are locked from the outside with the ignition key (1), and from the inside with a special button (2) located at the top of each door panel.
Securing rear doors when transporting children

It is necessary to lower the stopper (3) located under the rear door lock. After this operation, the rear doors can only be opened from the outside - they cannot be opened from the inside. Each time, the correct operation of the device should be checked.
Central locking (equipment of some versions)

Simultaneous locking and unlocking of all four doors, the trunk and the fuel filler cap occurs as follows (4):
- from outside the vehicle using the driver's or passenger's door key;
- from the inside by pressing or releasing the driver's or passenger's door lock button.
Remote central locking

The remote control device functions as a key. To lock or unlock all four doors, the trunk and the fuel filler cap, point the transmitter towards the receiver located near the front ceiling light (5) and press the button. The indicator light on the transmitter body will light up.
If the light on the transmitter does not light, this indicates that three battery elements are exhausted. The used batteries should be replaced with 1.5 V Varta 13GA, Ucar A 76 or similar batteries.
