The energy of movement of the driver and passengers with properly worn seat belts is largely transferred through the seat belts to the car body. And the full energy of movement is extinguished in a frontal impact by the car frame due to the special energy-absorbing structure of the front of the car and other constructive passive safety measures. In this way, the forces that can throw the driver and passengers from their seats are significantly reduced, thereby reducing the risk of serious injury.
Adjustment
1. By adjusting the position of the strap attachment points (1) front seat height (2) you can ensure the best placement of the shoulder belt.
2. To make this adjustment, pull the handle and move the seat belt up or down so that the shoulder branch passes through the middle of the shoulder and never through the throat.
3. After adjustment, pull on the belt to make sure that the belt clip is secure.
4. For a better seat belt position, the seat height can also be adjusted accordingly on the front seats.
5. Pull the seat belt out of the roller without sharp jerks, pull it over your shoulder and insert it into the buckle.
6. Do not twist the belt along its entire length.
7. To remove the belt, press the red button (3) on the belt buckle.
