Lever switch (1) The wiper and washer is located under the steering wheel on the right side. This switch only functions when the ignition key is in position A or M.
2 - position 0:
- turned off;
- normal wiper speed (when the switch is released, automatic return to A).
3 - position A:
- intermittent operation;
- variable intermittent operation;
- turned off.
4 - position B: work at normal speed.
5 - position C: work at high speed.
Washer
Pressing the switch lever from the stop position towards the steering wheel causes the brushes to operate briefly and the washer to operate.
If the switch lever is in the wiper position, pushing the switch lever towards the steering wheel activates the washer.
Headlight washer
When the headlights are on, turning on the windshield washer also turns on the fluid supply to the headlights.
Rear window wiper and washer (break)
In position A-B-C-D:
- to turn on the wiper, turn the switch knob 1/8 forward. To briefly turn on the wiper, press the button at the end of the switch;
- to turn on the washer, turn the switch knob forward 1/8 further.
Windshield washer reservoir
The fluid level in the washer reservoir should be checked frequently. In winter, use a special anti-freeze fluid for windshield washers. Do not use antifreeze for the cooling system.
Rear window washer reservoir (break)
The washer reservoir is located in the trunk near the right lamp.
1. To access the tank, turn the lock (6) 1/4 turn and open the luggage compartment trim cover.
2. Remove the lid from the jar (7) and add liquid.
