Window glass



Removal



1. Remove the inner door trim panel as described in paragraph 11.

2. Using a sharp knife, carefully separate the plastic waterproofing sheet from the adhesive layer on the door and remove the sheet. If you are careful, you can remove the waterproofing sheet in one piece and reuse it during installation (figure 12.7).

3. Lower the glass approximately a quarter of the way.

4. Press the tab on the window lift channel, lift the glass slightly and release it from the support (figure 15.4).

5. Lower the front edge of the glass and remove the glass from the outside of the door frame (figure 15.5).

Installation



6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Install a new sheet of waterproofing if the "old" one was damaged during removal. Finally, install the interior door trim panel as described in paragraph 11.

Window lifter



Removal



7. Release the glass from the window regulator lifting channel as described in points 1-4 above.

8. Move the glass to the fully closed position and use masking tape to secure it in this position relative to the top of the door frame.

9. Remove the two lower bolts securing the rear guide channel to the door (figure 15.9).

10. Remove the upper bolt securing the rear guide channel to the door (figure 15.10).

11. Loosen the three bolts securing the window regulator to the door (figure 15.11).

12. Remove the lower bolt securing the window regulator to the door (figure 15.12).

13. On models with power windows, disconnect the window motor electrical connector.

14. Lift the window regulator slightly to allow the bolts to pass through the elongated bolt holes, and then remove the window regulator through the opening in the door (figure 15.14).

Installation



15. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Install a new sheet of waterproofing if the "old" one was damaged during removal. Finally, install the interior door trim panel as described in paragraph 11.
