Control unit

1. On early models, the central locking system is controlled by an electronic control unit located in the sill panel closer to the rear of the front door, on the driver's side.

2. On later models, the central locking system is controlled by the BSI multi-function electronic unit, which is the vehicle's central computer that controls the main functions of the body's electrical systems. The unit is located under the front panel on the left side. For more information, please contact chapter 12.

3. If you experience any problems with the operation of the central locking system or any of the other functions controlled by the BSI unit, you should contact your Peugeot/Citroen dealer for vehicle diagnostics.
