Anti-theft system (immobilizer)

The anti-theft system does not allow fuel injection and engine start if the required code is not entered before starting. The code is entered on the keyboard. The car can be equipped with keyboard A or B.

Procedure for entering the code when starting the engine for the first time

1. Turn on the ignition.

2. Enter the code 1111 on keypad A. The green light and four beeps confirm that the code has been entered.

3. Enter the code 0001 on the keyboard. The green light and a four-time beep confirm that the code has been entered.

Attention! If there is no confirmation of the entry, dial 1111. The green light and a four-time beep should confirm the entry of the code.

4. Press the C key.

5. Dial the four-digit code and enter it by pressing the C key. The green light and a four-time beep confirm that the code has been entered.

Attention! If the code is not four-digit, but consists of a larger or smaller number of digits, a warning signal is given confirming the cancellation of the entered code.

6. Turn off the ignition and repeat the code entry procedure.

9. Press the C key.

10. Dial a new four-digit code and enter it using the C key.

11. Turn off the ignition.

12. Please re-enter the code in a minute.

Attention! The old and new codes have the same effect until one of them is specified to start the engine. After that, only the code that was used to start the engine is valid.

Launch

13. Turn on the ignition. The green light will come on to confirm that the anti-theft system is disabled.

In this case, you can start the engine.

If the red light comes on, it is impossible to start the engine because the anti-theft system remains activated. When trying to start, a warning signal is given. In this case, you must enter the code. If the code is accepted, the red light goes out. If you enter an incorrect code, four beeps are given, and the red light remains on.

Attention! After three unsuccessful attempts to enter the code, the immobilizer remains locked for one minute. The green signal lamp lights up, the red one flashes and a warning signal sounds.

If the green and red lights come on at the same time, this indicates that the keyboard is not being used correctly or that there is a malfunction.

14. Turn off the ignition.

15. Wait one minute and re-enter the code.

If the problem persists, you should contact a workshop.

Attention! The code is saved when the battery is disconnected. If the entered code is lost, the injection/power control unit will need to be replaced.

Enabling the anti-theft system

The anti-theft system is activated automatically when the doors are locked or when the driver's door is opened after the car has stopped. At the same time, a red light comes on for 10 seconds, after which time it starts flashing.

Attention! The anti-theft system is activated automatically after one hour if the car doors were not locked or the driver used the passenger door to leave the car.

Attention! If the car is equipped with the B keypad, it is possible to postpone the activation of the anti-theft system for one hour.

Turn off the ignition and press the D/N key. The green light will come on and the sound will beep for 30 seconds. After this operation, even after locking the car doors, the anti-theft system will not turn on for an hour. This means that before the anti-theft system is turned on, you do not need to enter the code to start the engine. After one hour, the anti-theft system turns on and the red light comes on.

To cancel the entered postponement of the inclusion date, you need to turn off the ignition and press the D/N key. On cars with a type B keyboard, the engine start blocking can be cancelled if necessary. There are two options for this.

1. Turn on the ignition, press and hold the D/N button for two seconds.

or

2. Turn on the ignition and enter the code consisting of four zeros.

3. Turn off the ignition. The green light should be on for ten seconds and four beeps will sound simultaneously. No code will be required to start the engine.
