The anti-theft system prevents fuel injection and starting the engine if the correct code has not been entered before starting. The code is typed on the keyboard. The vehicle may be equipped with an A or B keyboard.
How to enter the code when starting the engine for the first time
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Dial code 1111 on keypad A. The green light will turn on and a four-time beep will confirm the code has been entered.
3. Enter code 0001 on the keypad B. The green light will turn on and a four-time beep will confirm the code has been entered.
Attention! If there is no confirmation of the dialing, dial 1111. The green light will turn on and the beep will sound four times to confirm the dialing of the code.
4. Press the C key.
5. Dial the four-digit code and enter it by pressing the C key. The green light will turn on and a four-time beep will confirm the code has been entered.
Attention! If the code is not four digits, but consists of more or less digits, then a warning signal is given, confirming the cancellation of the entered code.
6. Turn off the ignition and repeat the code entry procedure.
Code change
7. Turn on the ignition.
8. Dial and enter the code. A green light will turn on and a four-time beep will confirm the code has been entered.
9. Press the C key.
10. Dial a new four-digit code and enter it with the C key.
Attention! If the code is not four-digit, its acceptance is cancelled.
Attention! After three unsuccessful attempts to enter the code, the immobilizer remains locked for one minute. In this case, the green signal lamp is on, and the red one flashes and a warning signal is given.
11. Turn off the ignition.
12. Re-enter the code after one minute.
Attention! The old and new codes are equally valid until one of them is specified to start the engine. After that, only the code that was used to start the engine is valid.
Launch
13. Turn on the ignition. The green light comes on to confirm that the anti-theft system has been deactivated.
In this case, you can start the engine.
If the red light comes on, the engine cannot be started because the anti-theft system remains activated. When trying to start, a warning signal is given. In this case, you must enter the code. If the code is accepted, the red light will turn off. When an incorrect code is entered, four beeps sound and the red light stays on.
Attention! After three unsuccessful attempts to enter the code, the immobilizer remains locked for one minute. In this case, the green signal lamp is on, and the red one flashes and a warning signal is given.
When the green and red lights come on at the same time, the keyboard is being used incorrectly or there is a problem.
14. Turn off the ignition.
15. Wait one minute and re-enter the code.
If the problem persists, contact the workshop.
Attention! The code is stored when the battery is disconnected. If the entered code is lost, the injection/power control unit will need to be replaced.
Activation of the anti-theft system
The anti-theft system turns on automatically when the door locks are locked or when the driver's door is opened after the car has stopped. At the same time, a red lamp lights up for 10 seconds, which after this time starts to work in a flashing mode.
Attention! The anti-theft system turns on automatically after one hour if the car doors were not locked or the driver used the passenger door to leave the passenger compartment.
Attention! If the vehicle is equipped with keypad B, it is possible to delay the activation of the anti-theft system by one hour.
Switch off the ignition and press the D/N key. The green light will turn on and an audible signal will sound for 30 seconds. After performing this operation, even after locking the car doors, the anti-theft system will turn on only after an hour. This means that you do not need to enter a code before the anti-theft system is activated to start the engine. After one hour, the anti-theft system turns on and the red light comes on.
To cancel the entered switch-on delay, turn off the ignition and press the D/N key. On vehicles with keypad type B, the engine immobilizer can be canceled if necessary. There are two possibilities for this.
1. Turn on the ignition, press and hold the D/N key for two seconds.
or
2. Turn on the ignition and enter a code consisting of four zeros.
3. Turn off the ignition. The green light should be on for ten seconds and four beeps will sound at the same time. No code is required to start the engine.
To return to blocking the engine, turn on the ignition and enter the code.
