Electronic anti-theft system (Peugeot 206)

The electronic anti-theft system blocks the engine control system immediately after the ignition system is switched off and prevents the engine from starting without a key - an identification card.



Identification card (figure 1.111) has an individual electronic code. When the ignition is turned on, the code is recognized by the anti-theft system, and the engine can be started. If the system malfunctions or the code does not match, a buzzer sounds and a message appears on the display.

Warnings!

• 1. Carefully write down and carefully store the key numbers. The key number is encoded on the plate attached to it. If you lose your keys, you can get a duplicate by contacting the service station.
• 2. It is prohibited to make any changes to the electronic anti-theft system of your vehicle.
