This system allows, within the limits of the possibilities determined by the engine power, to maintain any given constant speed at a level not lower than 35 km / h. This reduces the fatigue of the driver, who is forced, especially on long journeys, to keep his foot on the accelerator pedal for a long time.
Attention! Cruise control is not recommended for high traffic volumes and unfavorable road conditions (in case of ice, danger of aquaplaning or the release of rubble from under the wheels).
To activate cruise control, press switch 1 on the rear of the center console. Pressing the switch again will deactivate the cruise control.
When the vehicle reaches a speed of at least 40 km/h, which you would like to keep constant, just press switch 2 on the right side of the steering wheel and move it up or down. After that, you can take your foot off the accelerator pedal.
In order to switch to the normal driving mode, you need to depress the brake or clutch pedal and move the automatic transmission control lever to position N or press switch 2 to the steering wheel. The speed at which the vehicle was moving before the transition to normal mode is stored in memory and can be driven again by moving switch 2 up.
The speed can be increased beyond the programmed level without depressing the accelerator pedal. To do this, you just need to keep the switch 2 pressed up until the car accelerates to the desired speed. To move at a lower speed than previously set, switch 2 must be pressed down and held until the vehicle switches to a slower movement.
The entered values can be deleted by switching off the ignition or by pressing switch 1.
