Central locking system — description (Peugeot 305)

1. Since 1981, some models have been equipped with an electromagnetic central locking system, which sets the locks on all doors to the same position as the driver's door lock. The central lock does not exclude the possibility of manual opening of the doors.

2. The lock solenoids and their wiring can be accessed after removing the interior door trim.

3. With further improvement of the central locking system, the driver can open and close all doors remotely, using a key fob, which is a transmitter that emits a coded signal received by a receiver located on the car.
