Windshield wiper arms — removal and installation (Peugeot 305)

1. Before removing the wiper arm, turn the windshield wiper on and off to ensure that the arms are in the normal parked position (the brushes are parallel to the lower edge of the windshield).

2. Lift the flip cap on the lower end of the leash and unscrew the lock nut. Raise the leash all the way to release it from the latch and remove the leash from the drive shaft (see photo).



3. The leash is installed in reverse order. When finished, check that the blades are parallel to the bottom edge of the windshield and test the operation of the wiper (pre-wet the glass to avoid damaging the wipers).
