- turn the windshield wiper motor on and then off;
- apply adhesive tape to the glass along the wiper blade to mark the original position of the blade;

- remove the caps from the drive shaft nuts of the levers and unscrew the nuts 1 (figure 10.8);

- move the brush away from the glass and remove the lever from the shaft using a puller (figure 10.9).

Install the windshield wiper arms in the following order:
- clean the splines of the wiper arm shaft and the wiper arm itself;
- install the lever on the shaft, aligning the brush with the strip glued to the glass;
- tighten the nut and install the cap.
