Removal and installation the electric drive of the windshield wiper of the luggage compartment door (Peugeot 206)

To remove the electric drive of the luggage compartment windshield wiper, proceed as follows:
  • disconnect the negative battery cable;
  • remove the windshield wiper arm;
  • open the trunk door and remove the trim panel from it;
  • drill out the rivets securing the windshield wiper motor bracket with a 7.5 mm drill. To prevent the rivet from getting inside the door, place a rag behind the motor;

Note: When drilling out the rivets, be careful not to damage the electric drive components and the tailgate.

  • disconnect the contact connector and remove the electric drive from the door (figure 10.13);
  • do not allow the bushings to fall out of the rubber bracket supports;
  • remove the rubber seal of the electric drive from the door glass;
  • remove the remaining rivets from the bracket;

  • remove three bolts 1 (figure 10.14) and disconnect the electric drive from the bracket.

Install the electric windshield wiper drive for the luggage compartment door in the following order:
  • before installation, inspect the sealing bushing and rubber supports, make sure there is no damage or wear of parts. Replace faulty parts;

  • insert sealing sleeve 1 (figure 10.15) into the door glass hole and make sure that the rubber bushing 1 (figure 10.16) did not fall out of the electric drive bracket;
  • install the electric drive and secure it with new rivets;
  • connect the contact connector;
  • install the wiper arm;
  • connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
