- disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery;
- remove the wiper arm;
- open the tailgate and remove the trim panel from it;
- drill out the rivets securing the wiper motor bracket with a d 7.5 mm drill. To prevent the rivet from getting inside the door, put a rag behind the electric drive;
Note. When drilling out the rivets, be careful not to damage the electric drive components and the tailgate.

- disconnect the connector and remove the actuator from the door (pic. 10.13);
- do not allow the bushings to fall out of the rubber supports of the bracket;
- remove the rubber seal of the electric drive from the door glass;
- remove the remains of the rivets from the bracket;

- remove three screws 1 (pic. 10.14) and disconnect the actuator from the bracket.
Install the tailgate wiper motor in the following order:
- before installation, inspect the sealing sleeve and rubber supports, make sure that there is no damage or wear on parts. Replace defective parts;

- insert sealing sleeve 1 (pic. 10.15) into the hole in the door glass and make sure that the rubber grommet 1 (pic. 10.16) did not fall out of the electric drive bracket;
- install the electric drive and fix it with new rivets;
- connect the connector;
- install the wiper arm;
- connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
