Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the windshield wiper arm.
3. Unscrew the large spindle nut.
4. Open the back door.
5. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the plastic trim from the inside of the rear door.
6. Working around the edge of the carpet trim, release the fastening clips and remove the carpet trim.

7. Unscrew the bolts (indicated by arrows) windshield wiper mounts, then remove the windshield wiper from the rear door and disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
