Simultaneous locking and unlocking of the tailgate lock with the door locks



The tailgate lock can be locked or unlocked using the remote control or by locking/unlocking the driver's door with the key.

To open the tailgate, pull handle 1 (figure 1.7) and lift the door.

Note: The tailgate lock is automatically locked while driving when the vehicle reaches a speed of 10 km/h and is unlocked when one of the doors is unlocked.


Tailgate open indicator



If the tailgate is not closed tightly, the "STOP" malfunction indicator will flash on the display when the engine is started or while the vehicle is moving, a pictogram will appear and a buzzer will sound.

Emergency release lever for the tailgate



If the central lock is faulty, you can open the tailgate in the following way:
  • fold the rear seat to access the lock from inside the trunk;
