1. All models are equipped with inertia-reel seat belts for the front seats.

2. Depending on the model, both inertia-reel and regular seat belts can be used in the rear seats.

3. Seat belts can be installed on the rear seats of early models. There are threaded holes in the floor under the seat cushion and behind the rear compartment trim that can be used to attach seat belts.

4. Periodically inspect belts for wear and damage. Defective belts must be replaced.

5. A dirty belt can be wiped with a damp cloth soaked in a soap solution.

6. Check the tightness of the anchor bolts. If they have been removed for any reason, when installing them, you must check that the washers, bushings and anchor plate are installed on the bolts in the original sequence.

7. Do not attempt to modify the belt or change the location where it is attached to the body.
