Exhaust system — leak test (Peugeot 605)

1. Start the engine and let it idle in a well-ventilated area. Cover the exhaust pipe with a rag.

2. Check the operation of the exhaust system by ear. If necessary, apply a spray used to detect leaks to the joints of the exhaust manifold and the inlet pipe. Make sure that no air bubbles form in the specified places.

3. Eliminate any leaks found.
