Using a hex key to close an electric sunroof manually
Due to the complexity of the sunroof drive mechanism, considerable experience and knowledge are required to restore, replace or adjust the sunroof components. Access to the sunroof components requires removing the headliner, which is a very complex operation. Therefore, this work must be performed at a service station.
On models with an electric sunroof, if the sunroof motor does not work, first check the fuse. As a last resort, the sunroof can be closed manually using an Allen key. To access the sunroof closing mechanism, remove the overhead console from the headliner.
