General information about electrical equipment (Peugeot 406)

The electrical system voltage is 12 volts with negative ground. Power for the headlights and all electrical system components is supplied by the battery, which is charged by the alternator.

This section contains procedures for repairing and servicing electrical components not related to the engine.
