Removal



1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. In the car, open the immobilizer cover and turn the fuse box cover lock 90°. Disconnect the electrical connector from the block, unscrew the mounting screws and remove the lower panel on the driver's side.

3. Remove the air filter and air intake duct.

4. In the engine compartment, remove the clutch release cable from the clutch release lever and the cable casing from the unit's suspension, and disconnect the cable from the gearbox housing.

5. In the car, remove the cable from the clutch pedal.

6. In the engine compartment, remove the bushing from the engine compartment bulkhead and remove the cable, releasing it from the mounting brackets and clamps.

7. Check the condition of the clutch cable for wear or other defects.

Installation



1. Lubricate the clutch cable and route it through the engine compartment bulkhead.

2. Set the clutch pedal to the top position.

3. Secure the end of the clutch cable to the pedal.

4. In the engine compartment, install the clutch cable on the gearbox housing and the clutch release lever. Secure the clutch cable in the engine compartment with clamps and clips.

5. Press the clutch pedal several times to ensure that the automatic clutch adjustment mechanism is in the operating position and the clutch operates normally.

6. Install the previously removed elements at the bottom of the panel.

7. Install the air filter and connect the battery.
