1. Unscrew bolts 1 and remove the lower part of the steering column cover (see illustration).

2. Release the steering column height adjuster from the holder.

3. Press the fasteners and bend back the upper part of the steering column cover.

4. Disconnect the corresponding plugs.

5. Unscrew bolts 2 securing the left steering column switch 4 or bolts 3 securing the right steering column switch 5 and remove the switches (see illustration).

The installation of the steering column switch unit is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
