11. Inspect the drive shafts and CV joint boots. On the right drive shaft, check the condition of the support bearing, and also make sure that the rubber of the CV joint boots is not pulled inward, and the boots themselves are securely fastened with clamps on the small and large diameter seat belts. If necessary, disassemble the CV joints.
12. Clean and lubricate the hub and drive shaft splines with general purpose grease.
13. Lubricate the lips of the new drive shaft seals and press them in using a suitable mandrel, such as mandrel "a" 0336-J1/J2, after installing the sealing rings "b" and "c" (see illustration).
