Inertial fuel switch (on petrol engine variants) (Peugeot Partner I)

The vehicle is equipped with an emergency switch that shuts off the fuel supply in the event of an accident, which is necessary, first and foremost, for your own safety. The switch is located in the engine compartment on the right side (figure 13).

Note: The switch may also be triggered by any sufficiently sharp impact (for example, when parking).

When the switch is triggered, its button rises up.

Caution: Do not reset the fuel shutoff switch if there are obvious leaks or a fuel odor.

To reset the switch, follow these steps:

• Turn off the ignition
• Check the fuel system for leaks.
• If there are no obvious fuel leaks, reset the switch by pressing its top button.
• Check the fuel system again for leaks.
