1. Loosen lock nut 1, then unscrew nut 2 (see illustration).

2. Disconnect the tip of the leash 3 from the equalizer 4 (see illustration 8.1).

3. Release the leash 3 from the holder 5 (see illustration 8.1).

5. Release the leash 3 from the fasteners (see illustration 8.4).

6. Release the end 8 of the parking brake cable from the holder 9 (see illustration 8.4).

7. Release the leash 3 of the cable from the holder 10 (see illustration 8 4).

8. Remove the center console.

9. Unscrew nuts 11 and remove lever 12 of the parking brake drive (see illustration).

10. Move the holder 13 to the side (see illustration).

11. Release end 8 of the cable from holder 14, remove protective cover 15 and, acting from under the vehicle, remove end 8 of the cable of the parking brake drive cable (see illustration 8.10).

The parking brake cable leash is installed in the reverse order of removal.

12. After completing the work, adjust the parking brake cables.
