1. Remove the exhaust pipe.
2. Remove the heat shield.
3. Remove clamps 1 and 2 and using a suitable puller, such as puller 0216-G1 for 10 mm, disconnect the end of the cable traction from the spherical head 3, and using puller 0216-G2 for 13 mm - from the spherical head 4 of the gear selection and shift rods (see illustrations 2.3 and 2.3a).
2.3 Remove clamps 1 and 2 and using a suitable puller, such as puller 0216-G1 for 10 mm, disconnect the end of the cable traction from the spherical head 3, and using puller 0216-C2 for 13 mm - from the spherical head 4 of the gear selection and shift rods

4. Remove the head 5 of the gear shift lever, as well as the protective cover 6 (see illustration).

5. Remove the ashtray 7 (see illustration 2.4).
6. Remove the parking brake lever cover 8 (see illustration 2.4).
7. Remove the rear cover of the center console 9, acting in the direction indicated by the arrow in Illustration 2.4.
8. Remove the side trim 10 of the middle part of the central console, and then the upper trim 11 above the gearshift lever housing (see illustration 2.4).
9. Unscrew the nuts securing the gear shift lever housing and remove it together with the cable rods.

10. Remove the exhaust pipe.
11. Release the turbocharger hose from the holder and move it away from the work area.
12. Remove clamps 1 and 2, then loosen the stop bolts 3 (see illustration).

13. Disconnect the cable ends from the spherical heads of the gear selection and shift rods using pullers G216-G1 for 10 mm and 0216-G2 for 13 mm (see arrows in the illustration).

14. Remove the gear shift lever head and its boot.
15. Remove the soundproofing gasket.
16. Unscrew the nuts securing the gear shift lever housing and remove it together with the cable rods.
