17. Clamps 1 and 2 (see illustrations 2.3 and 2.12) must be replaced after each dismantling.
18. Make sure that the sound insulation pad 1 is installed properly (see illustration).

19. The tightening torque of the gearshift lever housing mounting nuts is 7 Nm.
20. Tightening torque of stop mounting bolts 3 (see illustration 2.12) is 20 Nm.
Gear Shift Lever Head
21. Wrap the head 2 of the gearshift lever 1 with a clean rag and remove the head with pliers, having first loosened its fit(see illustration).

22. Clean the contact surfaces of head 2 and gearshift lever 3 with a sponge soaked in soapy water (see illustration 2.21).
23. Install the gear shift lever head into its seat by gently pressing it down.
Caution: Do not hammer the gearshift lever head to avoid damaging the lever.
