Removal



Driver's side blower fan



1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim in the driver's side footwell.

2. Remove the fan by disconnecting the supply air duct, unscrewing nuts 1 and releasing plug 2 (see illustration).

Passenger side blower fan



3. Remove the front portion of the door opening seal.

4. Disconnect and remove the windshield deflector deflectors.

5. Remove the lower instrument panel soundproofing trim in the footwell on the passenger side.

6. Remove the fan by disconnecting the supply air duct, unscrewing nuts 1 and releasing plug 2 (see illustration 6.2).

7. Disconnect the side fan duct.

8. Disconnect two plugs 3, plug 4 and holder 5 (see illustration).


9 Unscrew the two bolts 6 and remove the fan, being careful not to damage the fasteners installed in the corresponding holes (see illustration).

Installation of fans is carried out in the reverse order of their removal.
