Attention! All work related to the air conditioner must be entrusted to a specialized workshop. For this reason, the order of work on the air conditioner is not indicated in this manual.
The air conditioner operates on the same principle as a refrigerator. The compressor compresses the gaseous, environmentally friendly, and freon-free refrigerant R-134A. This heats the refrigerant and it enters the radiator, where it cools and liquefies. Through the throttle valve, the refrigerant is supplied to the evaporator, where the resulting liquid again turns into a gaseous state. At the same time, it cools down strongly.
The air taken in to cool the cabin flows around the air conditioner radiator and is cooled. The condensation formed from the moisture contained in the air is removed to the outside. The intensity of air cooling in the cabin depends on the set temperature, as well as on the speed of the cabin fan.
Caution! Do not open the air conditioner refrigerant system. Contact of the coolant with the skin causes frostbite. If refrigerant comes into contact with your skin, rinse immediately with cold water for at least 15 minutes. The refrigerant is colorless, odorless and heavier than air. If refrigerant leaks, people in the area of the floor where the vehicle is located or in rooms located below the leak may suffocate.
