Air conditioning system dryness and humidity indicators
The air conditioning dryness (1) and humidity (2) indicators are located in the front left corner of the engine compartment.
1. Check the colour of the humidity indicator. A pink indicator indicates the presence of humidity. A red indicator indicates that the system needs to be drained and recharged. Drying and recharging should only be done at a Peugeot station.
Warning: Do not attempt to do the work yourself, as the refrigerant is a highly hazardous substance.
2. Start the engine and check the air conditioning system:
- clean liquid flow - the system is functioning properly;
- no liquid flow - check system;
- continuous flow of air bubbles in liquid - low liquid level;
- milky air bubbles - high humidity.
