Please note: On models since 1994, the specified interval for this procedure is 30,000 km.
1. Warm up the transmission oil by driving it a short distance.
2. Raise the front of the car.

3. Remove the dipstick (1) and then place a suitable container under the gearbox. The gearbox has two drain plugs: one on the crankcase and one on the differential case (the plugs are indicated by arrows). Unscrew both drain plugs and drain the transmission oil completely into a container.
4. After draining the transmission oil, screw the plugs back into place and lower the vehicle to the ground.

5. Fill transmission oil through the dipstick tube (a thin stream of oil should appear from the hole), take a test drive and adjust the oil level.
