Selector lever positions

Parking (P): used to stop the car in a parking lot, while the parking brake can be on or off. This mode is also used when starting the engine. Reverse gear (R): used for reversing. Neutral gear (N): used to prevent the car from rolling while parked, while the parking brake must be on.

Driving mode (D): Used for driving in automatic mode.

Gear indicator on the instrument panel

When you move the selector, the selected mode is displayed on the instrument panel display.

When you move the selector, the selected mode is displayed on the instrument panel display.

Cold start

When starting at low temperatures, gear shifting may sometimes be somewhat difficult. This is due to the increased viscosity of the transmission oil at low temperatures. To reduce exhaust emissions after starting the engine at low temperatures, upshifting will occur at higher rpm than normal.

Adaptive system

The gearbox is controlled by the so-called adaptive system, which continuously records the gearbox operation. The system determines the optimal mode for each gear shift.

Parking position (position "P")

Keep your foot on the brake pedal when shifting the gear selector to another position.

Neutral position (position "N")

In order to move the gear selector from position "N" to other positions, the ignition key must be in position "M" or "D" and the brake pedal must be pressed.

Driving position "O"

Switching between different gears of the gearbox occurs automatically, depending on the driving mode and speed.

Reverse gear position "R"

The vehicle must be stationary when you select the "R" position.
