2. All severely worn, loose or damaged parts must be replaced immediately. Below is a list of parts that are particularly subject to wear and a list of parts that should be checked especially carefully for loose fasteners. Subject to particular wear and tear:
- A. Lower control arm ball joints
- b. Rubber bushings for lower control arms
- V. Shock absorbers and their mounting sleeves
- d. Ball joints and inner tie rod joints
- e. Rack and pinion steering
- e. Steering column bushing
- and. Front and rear wheel bearings
- h. Rear trailing arm bushings
- And. Anti-roll bar bushings
The security of the parts listed below can be checked by physically moving them by hand or using tools. Particularly often disconnected:
- j. Anti-roll bars
- l. Steering gear fixing bolts
- m. Coupling fastening the steering rack to the steering column
- n. Upper and lower shock mounts
- O. Rear trailing arms
These checks are the bare minimum.
