2. Preparatory activities are indicated in chapter 7, Section 2, Paragraphs 2-7. First of all, however, you need to remove the two bolts that secure the middle stabilizer mount (see photo). Do not touch the 2 nuts and bolts on the clamps located on the shock absorber itself, as they must be adjusted with a special tool after installation.

3. After removing the lower control arm on one side, remove the cotter pin, washer and washer from the opposite end of the stabilizer and lower the car onto its wheels.
4. Unscrew the bolts of the two stabilizer mounts, lift the front of the car and remove the stabilizer, tilting its free end. Remove the washer and spacer ring from the second end of the stabilizer that you just disconnected.
5. Carefully inspect the middle stabilizer mount for deformation and cracks and check that it cannot rotate freely. If it is in good condition, it does not need to be replaced. If it requires replacement, please refer to the next section.
6. The stabilizer is installed in reverse order. See also chapter 7, Section 2, because to align the lower suspension arms it will be necessary to load the front of the car.
7. Before installing the stabilizer, coat both ends with Kluber Proba 270 Altemp grease (part number 9730.67). If you have removed or replaced the center stabilizer mount, you should preload it before tightening the outer mount bolts (see next section).
