Removing
1. Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
Front door
2. If there are any electrical components in the door, remove the door upholstery and protective film.
3. Disconnect connectors from electrical components and mounting brackets. Remove the rubber seal from the front edge of the door. Remove wiring from door.
4. Use a pencil or felt-tip pen to mark the position of each door hinge relative to the door to facilitate further installation and adjustment.
5. Unscrew the bolts securing the door stop to the rack (photo on the left) and remove the rubber cover (photo on the right).
6. While supporting the door, unscrew the hinge bolts and remove the door.
7. If it is necessary to replace the door opening hinges, mark their position on the door with a marker, unscrew the bolts and remove the hinges.
8. Install new hinges in accordance with the marks made earlier and screw them on with bolts.
Backdoor
9. Open the front door to access the rear door wiring connector. Turn the connector lock ring counterclockwise and remove the connector from the door.
10. Use a pencil to mark the position of each hinge relative to the door. unscrew the bolts (indicated by arrows) fastening the door stop to the rack and remove the rubber protective cover. While supporting the door, unscrew the hinge bolts and remove the door.
Installation
Front door
1. Reinstall the door and secure the hinges with bolts. Align the hinges with the previously made marks and tighten the bolts to the required torque.
2. Install the rubber protective boot on the door stop and screw the stop to the post.
3. Connect electrical connectors. Install the protective film and upholstery on the door.
4. Check door installation and adjust if necessary.
Backdoor
5. Install the door and secure the hinges with bolts. Align the hinges with the previously made marks and tighten the bolts to the required torque. Install the rubber boot on the door stop and screw the stop to the post. Connect the electrical connector to the door and secure it with the locking ring.
Adjustment
Close the door and check its alignment with the body panels. If you need to make a slight adjustment, loosen the hinge bolts. By moving the hinges on the rack, adjust the position of the door and tighten the bolts of the hinges.
