Removal
1. Open the trunk lid and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the pins and trunk lid trim.

3. Unscrew the bolts (photo on the left), disconnect the rod (photo on the right) and remove the trunk lock.

4. Remove the lock cylinder housing mounting screws and remove the trim and gasket from the outside of the trunk lid.
5. Disconnect the rods and remove the lock cylinder housing from the trunk lid.
6. Remove the trunk lock mounting bracket.

7. Separate the lock button together with the housing, noting the location of the springs (indicated by arrows).
8. Remove the trunk lock cylinder.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installing the trunk trim, check the functionality of the lock.
