Removal
Trunk lid
1. Open the trunk lid and remove the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the boot lid trim retaining clips.
3. Remove the trim.
4. Remove the fastening brackets from the protective cover of the electrical wires on the trunk lid.
5. Disconnect the protective covering of the electrical wires from the trunk lid hinge.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the electrical components in the trunk lid, noting their locations. Tie a cord to the ends of the wires and remove the wiring harness from the trunk lid. Untie the cord from the electrical wires, leaving it in the trunk lid.
7. Use a marker to mark the position of the hinges on the trunk lid. Unscrew the bolts (indicated by arrows) fastenings of hinges and remove the trunk lid.
8. To unscrew the trunk lid hinges from the body, you need to remove the rear shelf in the car and unscrew the hinge mounting bolt (indicated by the arrow).

9. Using a small screwdriver, remove the mounting brackets and disconnect the strut ball joints from the body and trunk lid.
Installation

1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. In this case, it is necessary to align the hinges of the trunk lid with the previously made marks.
2. Close the trunk lid and check the uniformity of the gap around the trunk perimeter and, if necessary, adjust it by loosening the trunk lid hinge mounting bolts. After adjustment, tighten the mounting bolts.
