Removal
1. Open the hood and place a rag under the corners of the hood to prevent damage to the body when removing the hood.
2. Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the right side of the hood.
3. To ensure the hood is installed correctly, use a soft pencil to mark the position of the nuts on the hood.
4. While supporting the hood, remove the mounting brackets and separate the support struts from the hood.
5. Unscrew the left and right nuts securing the hinges to the hood and remove the hood.
Installation
Install the hood in place and secure with nuts, tightening them by hand. Align the hood according to the previously made marks and screw the nuts finally. Adjust the position of the hood so that when the hood is closed, the gap along its perimeter is the same on all sides. To adjust the front of the hood in height, it is necessary to screw in or unscrew the rubber cushions located on the front of the engine compartment.
