2. Mark the position of its hinges so that you can later install them in their original place. Ask an assistant to hold the hood and remove the upper hinge bolt and the nut securing the hood support (see photos).

3. Unscrew and remove the bolts securing the hinges to the hood and carefully remove the cover.
4. Install the hood cover in reverse order. Check that the hinges are aligned with the marks made when they were removed. Check the fit of the closed hood and lubricate the hood hinges, stop pivots and latches (see photos).
