Removal
1. Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the fuse box cover. Disconnect the connector from the key block, unscrew the mounting screws and remove the lower instrument panel trim on the driver's side.
3. Remove the mounting bracket and extract the pin with a head and a hole for a cotter pin, securing the brake pedal pusher with a vacuum booster.
4. Loosen the pivot bolt nut and remove the brake pedal from the vehicle.
Installation
1. Lubricate the gasket with all-purpose grease and insert it into the pedal pivot hole.
2. Install the brake pedal back into place. Make sure that the push rod is in place. Insert the pivot bolt and secure with a nut.
3. Align the pedal with the pushrod and insert the pin with the head and hole for the cotter pin and secure it with staples.
4. Install the lower instrument panel trim and reconnect the battery.
