Removing
1. Remove the brake drum.
2. Using a G-clamp, pinch the brake hose at the point closest to the brake master cylinder.
3. Using pliers, remove the upper spring that compresses the brake pads. Remove the upper ends of the brake shoes from the pistons of the working brake cylinder.
4. Remove any dirt around the junction of the brake hose and the rear of the working brake cylinder.
5. Unscrew the union nut. Being careful, take a brake pipe from the working brake cylinder. Close it with corks.
6. Unscrew 2 bolts of fastening of the working brake cylinder to a brake board. Being careful, remove the working brake cylinder.
7. If the brake cylinder is defective, it must be completely replaced, as individual parts are not supplied.
Installation
1. Check up that interfaced surfaces on a brake board and the working brake cylinder pure. Reinstall the brake cylinder.
2. Install the brake pipe into the brake cylinder and tighten the union nut 2-3 turns.
3. Screw in 2 bolts of fastening of the working brake cylinder to a brake board and tighten them the demanded moment. Finally tighten the nut securing the brake pipe to the working brake cylinder.
4. Remove the clamp from the brake hose.
5. Install the upper parts of the brake pads into the grooves of the piston of the working brake cylinder. Install the upper brake shoe return spring.
6. Install the brake drum.
7. Remove air from the brake system.
